Every ferrule is checked under magnification against IEC 61300-3-35 for scratches, pits and contamination.

Do you offer a discount for a first order?
Yes. Use code FIRST15 at the payment step for 15% off your first order. It applies once per customer, and it works alongside our volume pricing.
Is there a minimum order quantity?
No. You can order a single cable. Volume pricing starts automatically at 10 pieces of the same configuration.
What's the difference between a simple and a split cable?
A simple cable has the same fiber count on both ends, like an MPO-to-MPO trunk or a duplex LC-to-SC cord. A split cable (also called a breakout or fanout) starts as one multi-fiber connector and splits into several legs, like one 12-fiber MPO into 12 LC connectors.
Which polarity and pin gender do I need?
For duplex cords, A-to-B is the standard. For MPO trunks, match the polarity method (Type A, B or C) used by your cassettes and transceivers. MPO equipment ports and cassettes usually have pins (male), so trunks between them are typically female on both ends. If you're unsure, send us the part numbers on each end and we'll confirm.
What do LSZH, OFNR and OFNP mean?
They're fire ratings for the cable jacket. LSZH gives off low smoke and no halogens, and is standard for data centers and most indoor use. OFNR (riser) is rated for vertical runs between floors. OFNP (plenum) is the highest rating, required in air-handling spaces such as raised floors and drop ceilings in many buildings.
How long does a custom build take, and what does shipping cost?
Orders ship within 5 business days of confirmation. US ground shipping is a flat $20 to the contiguous states, or $40 to Alaska and Hawaii, and it's free on orders over $500.
Can I return a custom cable?
Because each cable is built to your specification, we can't take back cables that match what you ordered. If a cable is defective or doesn't match your order, we'll repair, replace or refund it. See our returns and refunds policy.
Do your cables work with 400G and 800G optics?
Yes. Our cables run in 400G and 800G networks at leading US AI labs. Choose MPO with the fiber count, polish, pin gender and polarity your transceivers need, or send us the optics part numbers and we'll spec it for you.
Should I choose single mode or multi mode?
Match whatever your transceivers and existing plant use. Single mode is the choice for long runs and telecom; multi mode is common for short data center links. If you're unsure, check the transceiver label or send us the part number.
Are the cables tested?
Yes. Every cable is tested for insertion loss and return loss, and every connector end face is inspected, before it ships. We don't include individual test certificates with each cable.

Custom products
Our cables are made to the specification you choose. You're responsible for checking that the configuration, including connectors, polish, pin gender, polarity and length, suits your equipment. We're happy to review a configuration before you order.
Prices, tax and orders
- Prices are in US dollars and exclude shipping and applicable sales tax, which are shown before you pay.
- Tax-exempt buyers can send a valid resale or exemption certificate before ordering.
- An order is accepted when we send an order confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order, for example if a price was shown in error, and will refund anything you've paid.
- Volume discounts apply automatically to the quantity of a single configuration.
Payment
Orders are paid in full at checkout by card or other methods we offer, unless we've agreed purchase-order or net payment terms in writing with approved business customers.
Production and delivery
Orders ship within 5 business days of confirmation. Carrier delivery estimates aren't guaranteed. Risk of loss passes to you when the carrier delivers the order. See the shipping policy.
Limited warranty
We warrant that each cable is free from defects in materials and workmanship and meets the loss limits published on our site for [12 months] from delivery. Your remedy is repair, replacement or refund of the affected cable, at our choice. The warranty doesn't cover damage from bending below minimum bend radius, crushing, contamination, improper cleaning, or modification.

Cancellations

Returns
Because every cable is made to your specification, we don't accept returns of cables that match the order you placed and work as described.
Defective or incorrect cables
If a cable is defective, fails our published loss limits, or doesn't match your order confirmation, tell us within 30 days of delivery. Include your order number, which cable is affected, and a description or photos of the issue. We'll send a prepaid return label and repair, replace or refund the cable.
Refunds
Approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5 to 10 business days. Your card issuer or bank may take longer to post the credit.
